Trigger an automatic email by choosing an item from a enumlist

How can an automatic email be triggered from workflow by choosing an item from a enumlist??

Well, you can trigger an email upon updating a value of a column; perhaps you could make that EnumList a quick edit in a detail view, so user would not need to click edit, and save after selecting an item from EnumList to make it smoother experience.
