Trying to group inline

I am trying to group and inline view, I have set the grouping levels but it only shows the grouping when you select view. I need to show grouping on the inline view in the form (project works & SORS inline view) grouped by work type. Any suggestions?

This is by design.
You need to throw a feature request to change this behavior over.
