Updating a "Rope Reel" Stock Table from a "Cut Length" field in a Production Specification Form

Hi There,

I have a Stock Table of various rope reels - each reel has a barcode number and an “estimated length of rope on the reel”.

In my Production Specification Form, I record the “cut length” of rope and the reel barcode number it came from - But i manually update the stock table after i build each product.

How can I make the “estimated length of rope on the reel” in the stock table update from the “cut length” in the form?

I’m thinking i will need to use virtual columns somewhere…but struggling to come up with the formulas.
