Use of SHIFT+MOUSE SCROLL To navigate horizontal

There are ways to navigate from left to right in the editor columns view:

1. using the horizontal scroll bar.
2. using keyboard arrow left-right

I want to share another way which is using SHIFT + Mouse Scroll.

This SHIFT+SCROLL can also be utilized to navigate in Google-sheet when we have many columns.

I placed a quick tips, similar to this one.

When we are on the dropdown selection, such as data type etc, hit the first character, such as a, c, i, etc on your keyboard, then the first optional items will be selected. Dropdown selection is frastrating as the response is deadly slow sometimes (not sure why). Just reduce a bit amount of frastration with this [FDB8BB2A-0FA1-488E-B684-4FE6D68651EF]

Now if we could only freeze the Column Name column in the editor and scroll horizontally, that would be a huge help. Don’t you think the column NAME should be frozen by default so it does not scroll off screen when viewing/editing column settings? If anyone has a trick how to do this, it would surely make life a whole lot easier .

Agree wholeheartedly. I dont know why this wasnt done years ago. It is such a pain.

Freeze Column NAME in editor Feature Requests

Good point. I did a search for freeze COLUMN so I missed this post that was titled “Row”. I will cross reference from that post and vote there.
