USEREMAIL() Autopopulates "Guest"

I am using the USEREMAIL() function in the initial value formula bar to autopopulate a field. However, the field autopopulates as “Guest” when I’m previewing the app. Is this due to not having deployed it yet?

I’ve never heard of that! Does your app require login?

Facing the same issue as well, was okay when I first entered the function but autopopulates as Guest a few days later

Looks like this is a known issue, but the fix is not ready yet. Some suggestions that have been offered as workarounds:

• Try a different browser. Your browser may be configured in a way that interferes with the app emulator.

• Make sure your browser allows cookies. Perhaps your browser is configured to block the cookies the app emulator itself uses.

• Log out of and back into appsheet.com.
