my electronic medical records are server based using mysql. i want to create an instance and be able to create and app to access the database. can someone help direct me. ive been creating apps using google sheets but now i want to access mysql database instead. when i create an instance, does that automatically back up the database

I searched before. It might be beyond my comprehension. I thought there was someone who can can do this for a fee. Iโm not familiar with MySQL and it might take too long for me to understand it. I found the actual datase folder. However, the MySQL folder has like 50 files in them. It really doesnโt make sense to me since Iโm used to a single database file like access.
The solution is going to vary depending on where your mysql is hosted.
If it is Cloud SQL, there is Automatic Backups.
