UX Background Images

For the UX -> Brand -> Background image, the opacity gets changed pretty drastically, to lighten the image.

The problem is, for established brands (such as my organization), we already have secondary / light brand colors. It would be nice to be able to use these colors in the background - but I cannot as a result of the image filter being applied.

I have tried uploading darker backround images, in the hope that I can somewhat replicate the intended color post-filter… yeah.

I think this speaks to a bigger overall issue of not being able to specify application brand colors. I know AppSheet added the april fools color schema once upon a time… Whats the holdback in allowing us to specify our own unique color schemas?
