Wanting an HTML email via an Action button, or equivalent

Hi,

I’m a bit puzzled in that emails via Actions seem to be plain text only. I was planning on having an HTML email created after clicking on a “Prominent” Action button.

With workflows (ok, deprecated so bots), it seems that there needs to be an internal event to drive an action. I just want to send an HTML email at a click of a button.

EDIT: Is the answer to have the action change a value in the row, which triggers an email bot? well time for bed now.

How can this be done? I’m sure there must be a way. Thank you.
