We just stood up a 2nd database, so I will have a production db and a development/training db.

I’ll need to copy my current apps in order to have one copy point to production and one point to dev/training.

Since I’ve already conducted user training many people have the link

• so is there a way to take the app offline without deleting all the users?

Did you try to PAUSE the app? Managment / Deploy / Pause App

not yet because I wasn’t sure what that does exactly.

I tried to find documentation on the pause feature but didn’t see anything.

It just PAUSE your app, users cannot insert data or use the app. You mantein your app and your data in

safe state. This is an app I’ve paused for maintenance
