What subscription do you need when automation is released?

Even “data change” automations? since data change workflows are included in the pro plan

Hi! This is still unclear to me, as when creating workflow rules it gets added under automation, there is no warning about needing another plan.

Could you clarify this some more. If that is Premium or not?

Can you clarify what you mean? Are you seeing your workflow rules show up in the Automation section? Certain workflow features (eg: Change data actions, invoking webhooks, running scheduled reports) are only available in the PRO plan.

Yes it is showing up in Automation.

From a user perspective this is a bit confusing as to what you can choose in Workflow.
