When a certain Action is performed, I want to throw a confirmation message on the UI which the user does not need to dismiss. Ideally it is one of those which will show and then fade away. Is anything like that possible? What is the best approach to display information messages to be shown, ideally one where user does not have to

dismiss the message

Since it is in regards to actions, and you want it to be like a one way message perhaps a notification workflow does the job for you.
