When the app is not deployed, the feedback icon is still in the menu although it's disabled in options

Same here. Given @Tim_Martin’s comment, perhaps it shows in mine because my app is a prototype? Tim, is yours a prototype?

It is not deployed. I checked the deployed apps and the feedback icon is not shown when I disabled it.

So there is is: feedback control is not available for prototype apps, it would appear.
