Why do I have to force sync the app everytime I open the app to update the data?

I realise every time I open the app, the app does not have the new data updated automatically. I have to force sync to update the data and then use the app.

Alongside, I also hd problems retrieving changes that other members in my team did . Dont you guys think retrieving changes every 30 minutes is way too long ?
