Why does my “open” app request user sign-in with Google account?

I have deployed an app that I have made public and turned OFF user authentication.

Why do each of the users get asked to log in with their media account credentials (in this case we all use Google)?

Do I need to adjust some other setting?

@John_Baer1 When does this happen? Is it when your users are installing the official AppSheet app from the store, or is it afterwards, once your user clicks on an install link?

So, for most users I have been adding them to the users list on my app and sending them an invite.

We have found that each needs to typically install in two steps.

1. From email link, choose the option when AppSheet is NOT installed.

The AppSheet app from the respective store is downloaded and installed.

2. Go back to the email, clink on link and then choose option when AppSheet IS installed.

It is during step 2) that the message appears requesting they login with a media account (e.g. Google)

@John_Baer1 If you add a shortcut to your app on the homescreen, and then launch your app via the shortcut, does it still ask you then? Also, is this happening on iOS or Android?
