Zapier Imports not Triggering Bot

We have a Bot that triggers on Data Change / Adds Only and works great. We’ve enabled the AppSheet Events Add-On for the sheet so that the Bot will trigger when adding the record directly into the Sheet instead of via the App. That is also working great. However, it doesn’t trigger when the record is created via Zapier. Is this expected behavior? Any workarounds?

Google App Scripts or interacting directly with the Appsheet API come to mind first.
