Yes.In general, being able to select a templateID in an expression would yield very powerful possibilities. The assumption that only one template might be desired for output is arbitrarily limiting.

I'm having a variation on this problem. When I'm viewing the record in the form, it shows the text field's normal value (in this case, a "K"). When I edit the record in the form, it changes to NaN. No idea what's going on here.

Interpreting the doc is easy. It’s fine for what it does. I’m critiquing it on the grounds that it doesn’t support my particular needs without onerous effort. Shall I magically make my particular need disappear?
