To protect your organizationโs data, we automatically sign out AppSheet users after 90 days. Weโve heard, however, that some organizations need different login durations for different use cases. For instance, if your users deal with highly sensitive data, a shorter session length might be needed.
Thatโs why as of today, weโre giving AppSheet root admins the ability to control their AppSheet teamโs session length. This new feature allows team root admins to specify how long users can access AppSheetโs services before they need to reauthorize the service. Once you set a session length and refresh usersโ credentials, all users โ be they editors or users on web or mobile โ will be asked to reauthorize AppSheet once their session expires.
The minimum session length is one hour, all the way up to a maximum of 90 days. While itโs available to all users, please note that itโs most effectively used in conjunction with Workspace Google services session length to not only require the user to authorize AppSheet, but additionally to enforce a re-authentication to a userโs overall Workspace account.

This seems like a good addition.
I saw a post about someone with fears that an ex-employee could delete data and this seems to help around that kind of situations
This is definitely useful additional feature, which is welcomed as well. Thank you for adding this. To get more flexibilties, we wish to have option to arbitrarily add the duration manually, within the range of 1hr - 90days. If it possible there will be a case the app creators wish to limit to 3 days while it seems we dont have such option to confiulate.
Additionally, currently this is global setting done by the admin account. It is more useful if we could overwrite this by "app level". Based on the app, we may have requirements to control the length differently by app level, thank you for consideration.
