Activity for audit trail

Just thinking aloud. Is it possible, when a form is submitted and data is saved to a Googlesheet, is it possible to create another entry in another sheet to create an audit trail?  My thinking is, I have many submissions being done using various different forms into various different google sheets so wish to have an extra sheet which keeps a log of all the submissions and thus create an audit trail. The audit trail will only contain simple data like time data etc.

I've looked at using Bot Automation but the only thing I can see is perhaps creating a script. Not having created scripts I wouldn't know where to start.

Just add the other sheet to the app and use automation or just simple actions on form save to "add a row to another table using values from this row".
You will need an action on both setups anyway
