Add and Edit in Dashboard

So I’ve got a dashboard set to interactive where one view is a Table view and the other is the default Detail view for that table of data. The interactive bit works fine. But how can I add a new record and edit an existing one via the dashboard.

You need to add action buttons for the detail view.

Similar problem. I have a table view, in a dashboard, that refs a slice. The slice is set to Adds & Updates. Yet in the dashboard I have to expand the table to get the add record button. Is there a way to see the add record button, in the table, whilst its still show in the dashboard?
