App Recovery Mode

When turning on recovery mode you get the following message

Use this option only if you have a user with an old app version who is facing errors when trying to sync changes. When the app is put into Recovery mode, these changes will be accepted and written to special recovery files. This will allow the user to continue using the app. Please make sure to switch back to normal mode as soon as possible. Do you want to proceed?

Question. Where are these files located? I had to use this mode last week and ended up having to recreate about 6 records in table. What was strange was that the subtable records were there, but not these.

All files, including images, should be saved in the respective location - and named appropriately as well, almost as if nothing was amiss.
