Background XY Visual Bug

Recently we have been seeing some errors/bugs in the XY background images in AppSheet. We first noticed this on Friday, Sept. 2nd. The images used in the background now have black bars on the right side and bottom. This appears to be the case for new uploaded images, as well as the older images that have been in the app for a long time. Was there a change in how these images are rendered in the app? When you zoom in on the image the black bars do start to disappear, but when zoomed all the way out it looks like the image below.
