Capturing User Feedback?

Is there a way to capture any user info in the ‘feedback’ email form (UX->Option->Allow Users to Provide Feedback) other than user email address?

For example, is there a way to insert app name or version number (or anything else from said app)?

The app name is reflected in the subject line but unfortunately that seems to be it.

There are a couple of ways to create your own Feedback feature.

Use an action of type of “External: Start an email”.

In this action you have control over the subject line and the email body BUT the user could ultimately change this information since the action simply pops-up and email editor window on the device pre-populated with the info.

Create a Feedback Form and email entries

Maybe the most elegant solution is to provide an App Feedback Form in the app. Then just simply email any new rows entered to your desired email address. In this version, since the email is generated and sent AFTER user entry, you will have the ability to add any additional details to the email you need.
