Edit (floating pencil) action Not showing on Slice View Detail Type

Hi,

As a spin-off of my last question re creating views that displays to specific users.

I have created 3 views (filter Location) and created a show_if condition fof each Slice View. The show_if constraint is working fine.

However, when the user open up a row in detail, the ubiquitous overlay pencil icon (edit) is not showing anymore.

Any help?
