This is not using Quick Edit, this would be in an actual form.
However, the same scenario does play out in Quick Edit.
I have a column that is used for a cost amount, currency. $$$$
I requires input, using two decimal places, pretty standard for currency.
It allows for the appropriate input, great!
But if the amount is saved and contains no tenths or hundredths, ie: $1.00 it saves the value as $1
or if there are hundredths, ie: $1.10 it saves the value as $1.1
If a column is being used for currency, it should always include a tenths place as well as a hundredths place.
The above examples should save as $1.00, $1.10 respectively.
Can this be corrected, as the display after the form is saved and later used for reference is rather annoying. It defeats the whole purpose of having a column type for currency, yet it is displayed incorrectly after the fact.
Thanks!
I hope you were able to get this sorted out?
