HOW Create connection with on premise database MySql

Hi everyone,
i am trying to use mysql as a database for a new app which is in a local instance (db on premises) . Can anyone explain to me in detail how I can proceed to connect appsheet with my mysql db?

i found this guide  but on the top there is this announce "AVAILABILITY NOTICE: Use of DreamFactory to connect securely to an on-premises database is not available to new customer configurations. It will continue to work for existing customer configurations."

What does it means?

THANKS

My understanding is that DreamFactory was a utility tool to provide additional security for connections to databases.  It is no longer available for use.  You can still use on-premise databases to my knowledge.

You will need to setup a database server that allows your instance of the database to be seen on the Internet.  Once done then you should only need to provide to AppSheet the host server details - host name and port # - and the database connection details - account ID and password.
