Hi,

I have a parent table and a child table, and they are related to each other.

Questions: Why the user can press “New” to add new data in child table without completing parent table? I have already selected all column to be “Required”.

Is there anyway to allow user to complete the parent table before they proceed to add data in child table?

This is happening because the required fields are checked only when you save the form, not when you are filling the form. One workaround is if you show that child column only if all fields are not blank.
