How do the email and show column types work in form view?

I have an external website I want callers to click on.

The description text shows and it is hyperlinked but it only opens the app in a new window, not the webpage.

I originally tried it as a URL col type but I didn’t even get the hyperlink.

Then I changed it to show type but the link doesn’t work right.

I also have another field that I want the callers to be able to send an email depending on the answer to the question when called.

The email address shows but it doesn’t open an email.

@Tammi_Canelli Hi Tammi, I’m afraid email columns and URL columns do not work inside form views, which means you won’t be able to click on them to send an email or to open a hyperlink.

Is there a character limit for show columns (text)?

May need this option for a workaround.

@Tammi_Canelli Hi Tammi, there’s currently no imposed character limit in show columns. However, you will find that really long text will very soon be cut off on screen.
