How might I ensure that a reference column (viewed as a form) gets entered?

I have a main production table within that table I ref a column (RM verification). I need a method of ensuring that the Main Production form will not get saved unless the RM verification form is filled out Basically, I just need a require, however, ref columns do not have that functionality. I can’t use an action because the ref form has several entries

Do you mean you should have at least one child record so it’s possible to save the parent record?

Yes. That would be minimum use case.

Then you can use another column’s Valid If for this purpose.
