How to create monthly chart for categories

Hi  There, 

My Data

Row Id	Date dd-mm-yyyy	Category
1	01/01/2022	Cat1
2	01/01/2021	Cat2
3	01/01/2022	Cat 2
4	01/02/2022	Cat 2

I wanted to create a chart view of categories vs month year 

ie a drop down to select Month year 2022 - 01 

Then the category frequency pie chart may be shown
