I have a 'time' column would like to show time range like "14:00-17:00" from my data source.
I've set the data type as time, bu the apps only show a middle value 15:00.
How should I cope with this?

Yes, the time type column by definition expects a specific single time value. As such one cannot enter a time range in a time type column.
In general, you can show the time range ( or any range) using a text column. However with the text type, the value will be stored as a text string.
