I am unable to subtract two price data types

I am trying to do a simple arithmetic expression with two price data types and it is give me a "Arithmetic expression has inputs of an invalid type 'Unknown'" error. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make this work?

If you didn't already, confirm that you saved the app--so that AppSheet recognizes each column's assigned data type--before entering the expression for the Balanced Owed column.
