New bug encountered: display name value with concatenate function in dashboard view

Hi community,
If i use a display name for a view with a concatenate function, value doesn’t appear on dashboard view
Concatenate Name display nevertheless on single view…

Where are you using the CONCATENATE() expression? Screenshot preferred.

Note that you can’t use an expression everywhere you can enter text. This may be such a case.

expression in display name view ( very simple)
CONCATENATE("Fiche: ", [keyClt], " - ", [date])

one more things
the date is displayed in different ways

When you enter the the Display Name expression editor you are greeted with the following message in yellow. You will not be able to use Row information to generate a view Display Name.

nevertheless i don’t understand why it works on a single view and not in dashboard view …

I am noticing that from your screenshot. What type of view is it? I’d like to try it out.

type: detail view

Ah, Detail views do not have that restriction! I did not know. Good catch on the bug!! I hope AppSheet can fix it for you soon!!
