Sends automatic mail on change of a field through the source file?

Hello,
I developed a small form so that my employees can request leave or vacation remotely.
The person in charge of the validation of leave edits the source file (excel) and fills in the corresponding field with “accepted or refused”
Of course, employees can see the change of state on their form, but how can they be notified by mail or other push of the change of status of their request?

AppSheet cannot react to changes made directly to the source data. You could setup a scheduled report to periodically act on the data.
