Table group by EnumList giving multple groups

I have a Table view which I want to Group By a EnumList column. When that column has multiple entries the group by gives a group to (A,B,C) as well as (B,C,A), which in my mind are the same group. Is there way to merge these groups without clicking the enum dropdown in a particular order when creating the row?

One workaround is to add an additional column with an app formula which converts the value with the same order
