Uneditable Ref_Row

Is there a way to reference a related table and make it uneditable?

I tried to create a slice of the same table and make that slice “Read Only” but when I try to use the Ref_Row code and reference the slice instead of the table it gives me errors.

Of course when I put in the exact same code to reference the slice to get a screenshot, it doesn’t replicate the error. Thanks for asking
