Why does version number change for every re-open the editors ?

Open without edit & save.

Re-open with version increment.

I think the version number updates only when any changes are saved in the editor. Just opening the editor won't create a new version i guess.

I believe AppSheet performs an automatic consistency check every time the app editor is (re)loaded. If the consistency check finds any problems, it will fix them, which produces a new version. It the version number increases every time, there may be a problem deep inside your configuration that a developer may need to fix.

Thanks Steve. I did the contact but got a reply referred to the same page, no more investigation.

This is happening only to an app which is working fine but there's no way to know where the glitch is.
