need help working through a reference issue.
I have 4 tables containing registration information - all fields are the same but the lists have different names as the separation is based on app status and location.
I need to have a check in table related to each person but we can only reference one table.
Do I need to create check in tables for each location or is there a way to have one table that can be used to collect the data for all 4 registration tables?
Yep: slices!
How would I do that with slices? My other thought was to add a VC to each registration table and do an action that would take user to check in.
I would combine your 4 tables into just 1, but add column(s) to differentiate the individuals by “app status and location”. You could then use a slice (or table security filter) to limit what records are available to any given user. At that point, all your users are in a single table that can be referenced by your check-in table.
I started with one. The issue was the sheer limitations with smartsheet.
So now I’m working on a solution to accommodate the 4 tables.
@Tammi_Canelli ahh… I have no experience with SmartSheet, so can’t help there.
