Action Buttons for QR Scanner Search and other functions

Using the example of an inventory app, if I want to search for an item with a qr code I first have to click on the search bar and then on the scanner.
It would be nice if you could put a button on the home screen, menu bar or in the header to start the QR scanner more easily.

basically it would be cool if you could link functions directly
