Enum with Base Type XY

I would like to use Enum with Base Type XY so that I could choose an XY value.
Just like I can choose an Image in an Enum column with Base Type Image:

When I set it up, I cannot choose a Background image for the XY coordinates.
Error: Column Name ‘XY’ in Schema ‘KML_Schema’ of Column Type ‘XY’ has an empty base image.

Does anyone have a solution, or should I change it to a feature request?

Hi @Steve. What do you think? Is this a small bug that AppSheet can fix in the near future, so I should wait? Or is this something that could last 2 years, so I should find my own workaround?

The same behavior is missing, when you set a Ref to a table with XY as the label. LatLong as the label is working; XY not.

My personal approach is to assume that minor bugs will not be fixed and to just work around them. There’s no way to predict which seemingly small bugs will be fixed or when. The same is true for some big bugs, like IFS(), and card views.

I can see that you asked about this feature about 6 month ago. Unfortunately, it has not been implemented yet but we have it on a roadmap. Unfortunately there is always something more important and we don’t have a timeline yet. I can suggest you to bring more attention to this feature in community, we prioritize features based on user feedback as well.
