This may be something that Appsheet is working toward already, since the functions of workflows and reports from the Behavior menu have already been moved to Automation/Bots.
There are multiple requests open for ways to trigger an automation task from a button, or to make the Send an Email behavior action behave more like the Send an Email bot task, and more, but I think the underlying concept that solves all of these would be to merge all Behavior Actions into Automations.
Most of the "do this" options in a behavior action can already be duplicated via bot tasks, so there would be very little work to do there. Adding a bot event type of "Button Pressed" would be all that's needed to trigger the bot process task. Defining the appearance and behavior details of buttons could either be done in the bot event panel, in the UX view details, or as a new "Buttons" tab in the UX menu.
