To clarify: you mean that you have a usersettings column with a show_if formula, but when the formula returns false (col is hidden), the Settings option still remains in the Menu?

A suggestion for you in the meantime. You can have one of the usersettings columns with a show_if formula that is the opposite of your other columns combined, that’ll only show if no others do. This column can be a show column with a simple message of “sorry no settings are available to you due to…”.
