Appspot URI showing up in image path

The following path is showing up in image filenames since Sep 28. I have added ellipsis to shorten it.

gs://appsheet-....appspot.com/Production/...

It’s a breaking change that has just started showing up in our app (which takes photos).

The photos column now has, for these records, the light gray triangle with an exclamation in the middle that AppSheet uses to indicate it can’t access the image file. We store our images on S3 and have been doing this since 2018 with no trouble, however the AppSheet-generated file names have always been along the lines of:

uuid.jpg such as ae890ad89e0d89e89d0ad.jpg

I’m not that familiar with appspot.com, which appears in the image path. This is new … is appspot something that AppSheet has recently integrated or could it be something related to the devices on which our app is running?

This problem is causing breakage in production and highly visible to our users.

Just to add one debug “solution” if any other user happen to have this issue gs://appsheet-5e8de.appspot.com/Production/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/8%3A51%3A08%20PM_IMG-20211115-WA0003.jpg

This error happen too when the Google Drive is saturated and reach 500K documents.

I’m having the exactly same issue.

Every image collumn on rows synced yesterday morning (from 8am to 11am, GMT-3) (more than 100) by 4 different users on 4 devices is showing that path.

I’ve checked the datasource (Google Drive) and the jpg files haven’t been uploaded, so its not just an issue on the file path.
