DD/MM/YYYY date in search function

Hi Appsheet,

We are using DD/MM/YYYY as format for dates in our tables.

Nevertheless appsheet is using MM/DD/YYYY format in its search function.
This means that our users can’t search on their date.

Is it possible to enable an option where we can choose the date format?

I think it should be possible for you to reformat the dates in either display or search to your liking. Perhaps this is not as easy to do in AppSheet as you would like but I’m pretty sure that it’s possible. Have you looked into using TEXT() and other methods to reformat dates?

Seconding this request for native view search to match locale date.

I am in Australia DD/MM/YYYY with Google Spreadsheet set to UK(English) and Appsheet Data Table is as well.

However searching the view for dates only works if user uses format MM/DD/YYYY

Is it possible to have the search match the locale settings?
