Format rule for chart color

Hi there,

I wish the chart color could be defined the same way as format rules.
For example, if the [Status]=“Good” then the color is green and red if “Bad”.

Thanks!

Well, if it’s possible, I’d like to see how

Dang… you are correct sir! I could have sworn I remembered a discussion about this years ago and it was implemented - but I just tested and no show.

This would really help spice up the charts!

I wonder if this approach–for calendar events–would work for graphs:

I’m totally agree with Julien. Trying to create a dashboard to compare how many tasks are completed, on course, or not started of the tasks of different departments, it gets confused because on each chart the colors are different.

A year later, just checking in to see if this has been addressed? Someone over at Google surely has figured out how to do this?

What I did here is to make the property as Enum with the following choices: Good and Bad

The next thing to do is to add color in the chart. Make sure the color you are choosing are align with the choices of Enum.
