Is it possible to auto-complete an Action when a UPC is scanned?

An example would be a grocery store checkout. If I had an Action Group that deducted the inventory, marked the date purchased, etcโ€ฆcould I trigger that Action Group with a UPC scan?

You could search the correct product with the scan and choose action by pressing manually.
