Is there a way to tell when the last time the device pulled in the definition from the backend?

@Aleksi_Alkio man, I was thinking about something like that… So, a virtual? It shouldn’t be a sheet formula?

(Aleksi Alkio) #3

Sheet formula won’t work. You need to use virtual because when the table doesn’t have any meaning, you won’t open the record (you can even hide that view) and then you can be sure that the NOW() is recalculated only when you sync the app.

@Aleksi_Alkio Awesome, thanks man! Translate

You’re welcome

You mean last sync?

(Grant Stead) #7

@Aleksi_Alkio yes, like the kind if Sync where you receive other users changes.

If you add a very simple table with one column & row and then you add a virtual column NOW(), you can read the last sync time with the lookup where ever you need it.
