When you connect the payment gateway with the spreadsheet, the CC data is not in a speadsheet. The payment platform will handle all CC data.

But assuming the user enters the CC details into appsheet, the data path would be Appsheet => Google Sheets => API => Payment Gateway.

My concern is that because the CC details are written is Sheets, there is no way to permanently delete them.

An advice… don’t try to use CC data in any way in the app… ever.
