Limit hours displayed on calendar views

Hello. Is it possible to limit the displayed hours on a calendar view to only show a specific range? I understand the โ€˜Start Timeโ€™ and โ€˜End Timeโ€™ fields which are used for displaying the data on the calendar, but I am hoping to limit the displayed hours on the calendar to 8am - 6pm.

I have the calendar included in a dashboard view, and it would be much more functional if it only showed the segment of each day which is relevant to our business hours.

Basically, I will never need to show any data before 8am or after 6pm, so I donโ€™t want those times to display and cause the necessity for vertical scrolling.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Noah,
I donโ€™t think we currently support a feature that greys out non-business hours or shows only the business hours.

Related to the issue, you could add a valid_if condition on the โ€˜Start Timeโ€™ and โ€˜End Timeโ€™ for your records. Check https://help.appsheet.com/en/articles/961211-valid_if-column-constraint. It will work for data that spans at most one day. For items spanning multiple days, it wonโ€™t work.

Iโ€™d recommend you check if itโ€™s already a feature requested in the community (https://community.appsheet.com/c/requests/18). If it, add your vote, if not, you could suggest this as a new feature.

Thank you

There used to be  a way to restrict your calendar view to certain hours (through the experimental features) in 2017-- why was this removed? Any chance it'll come back?

Any news on this topic?? It would be very helpful.
