Quick edit column advanced features question

Hi all,

I have a quick edit column on a text, I wanna know if it possible to allow the user to change the size of the box or to manually have a bigger. 

One more thing that I think will not be possible is it possible to allow the the user to make changes on the look of the text ? I mean change the text to bold, change the color of the text etc...

Hoping someone can help me.

AFAIK. Not possible.

Yes it is. I do it as it follows:

Set your column as long text, and set the initial value as:

This way you are making the initial value empty lines.  This is how it looks like, I can make it bigger but I don't want it

Thank you for your response. But it is not what I wanted. I already have a longtext quick edit but all the users told me that the box was too small and they wanted to extend it. Because when you write a lot of things a scroll bar appears ruining the user experience.

so instead of a text, you should use long text column

Yes I know I already have a long text 😀

sure, but text column type is for few characters. It is normal, when you use a text column and type a lot you'll to scroll to see all the text.
