Column โCategoryโ is of type โenumโ. Values for this column are โapartmentโ, โhouseโ, โshopโ, โofficeโ, โresidentialโ and โcommercialโ.
โStreet No.โ should be visible if โcategoryโ is โapartmentโ, โhouseโ, โshopโ, โofficeโ, โresidential plot (Balloted)โ or โcommercial plot (Balloted)โ.
Column โPlot Allocationโ of enum type should only be visible if โcategoryโ is โresidential plotโ or โcommercial plotโ. Plot allocation has values โBallotedโ and โUn-ballotedโ.
If โUn-Ballotedโ is selected column โstreet noโ should not be visible.
The problem arises when a user selects โresidentialโ or โcommercialโ and further selects โun-ballotedโ but then changes mind and selects โapartmentโ, โhouseโ, โshopโ or โofficeโ. In this case โstreet noโ is no more visible even now the category is โapartmentโ, โhouseโ, โshopโ, โofficeโ.
Try with turning on RESET ON EDIT for each column and see if this behaves differently.
I used โreset on editโ condition for the column โplot allocationโ to reset it to a blank value using โโ as itโs initial value. The condition for โreset on editโ was:
OR
(
([Category] = โShopโ), ([Category] = โApartmentโ),([Category] = โHouseโ),([Category] = โOfficeโ)
)
Just turn on RESET ON EDIT, donโt use any expression.
Tried what you just said but the problem persists, as expected.
Actually I am talking about the scenario where the user changes the value of โcategoryโ before pressing the โsaveโ button of the form.
As far as I know โReset on editโ works when a row is edited.
Youโre right. I though you are editing an existing record, not creating a new row.

Moreover, when I initially select โcategoryโ other than โResidential(Un-Balloted)โ or 'Commercial(Un-Balloted), I am unable to edit โStreet No.โ if I try to change the category to other than โResidential(Un-Balloted)โ or โCommercial(Un-Balloted)โ as shown below:
Unable to upload a โgifโ !
Basically, an โun-balloted plotโ cannot have a 'street no. โ and โplot no.โ
But when I use the above expression I get the following:
Whereas, the following should be shown:
